Around a year and a half ago, an old friend named Peter, was driving his motorcycle up on La Tuna Canyon. He had his 24 year old daughter, Katie, on the back of his bike. He was broad sided by a drunk driver that pulled out on the street. Katie was killed instantly and Pete was dragged under the truck, resulting in a severe frontal head injury.
Peter walked around since then as just a shell, carrying so much sadness, depression, anger & was lost, until last week when he committed suicide. His family equates it w/the fact that Peter died the night Katie did, because they never got back the Pete they knew and love. Such a loss of a beautiful man and his gorgeous daughter. So so sad...
This is just another reminder to cherish each day and not put things off. Don't delay paying that special someone a visit. Don't hold back on hugging. Hugs are so comforting. Don't hold back telling someone that you love them.
We love you Pete. You always had such love abounding, from those beautifully soothing eyes. You will surely be missed.

Pam, yes it truly is a sad day when we lose a person who gave so much to the world. I can see Peter laughing out loud and caring about his family and providing for them and loving them. I really feel for those left behind and pray for Rose and the whole King and Cox family as well as Pam Barber King too!
ReplyDeleteOh how sad...When my son committed suicide 6 years ago, only the grace and love of God allowed me and my wife to survive the pain and agony. God bless, Lloyd
